Crystalised
As a hunter of fine things, particularly jewelry because I know it will always fit me. I found these beautiful pieces on my favourite pass time etsy.
I actually got the inspiration of searching for a crystal necklace because when I was in London I saw this amazing really large sword shaped one, and it was vintage and absolutely stunning. I think I was in a rush and didn't really think about it and so should have bought it at the time. I regret it now!
Anyway these pretties have cheered me up a bit, and I have one coming in the mail which I will change up a bit!
I'll show you mine when it arrives later this week. Happy Blogging
Edit-I have only just seen The Animal Orchestra's post on a similar necklace, and I totally didn't copy! I was so surprised when I cam across it two days later, I guess good minds think alike?

Art on Etsy
I have been looking for inspiration lately of pieces of art that catch my eye. I may end up purchasing because sometimes they never quite work out...What I love about Brook Greens work is that it is recycled and simple and has such an effect. I think all the prints look amazing, but these three are my top.
I have so many beautiful old books that are just sitting in my room at the moment, and I would love to have some of it displayed. I am just loving this idea! Check out her shop linked above.

Hunting
Just found this old photo from The Sartorialist and wanted to share! I cannot remember what month it was from, but if I could be bothered could look it up in the archives. Anyway I am just in love with all the colours in the jewels and the way she has so many but they all work together. Something I wish I could pull off.
P.S It is two weeks till I leave for the UK! I am so excited! I have been holding up the spending hard core, and really haven't had anything new in months. So excited for the shopping! I really hope I find some treasures haha.

Ayyy Noo Moosique
I have "cleverly" added a new gadget which I can update whenever I want with all the beautiful and fun music I hear daily. I get majority of my inspiration from Triple J(as do most young people) but I also love Lastfm.com and just hearing about new bands from all over the worlds. Please let me know if you like what you hear!!
Hope everyone is having a nice weekend

Ring Me
A regular night for me, cruising around on Etsy and I come across these incredibly quirky and adorable hand carved rings! Marc Barer's to be exact..
I like that each have a little imperfection and sort of tell a story. If you are interested check them out at this shop http://www.etsy.com/shop/donmoti
The next range I came across was a shop called "Toosis" and these rings remind me of those YSL ones I have seen around...I think....
The price range isn't ridiculous, ranging from 60 to 100 ish dollars. Check the rest of the jewelry out. The rings by far are my favourite.

ANNND last week I found this desirable slash slightly out of my price range:
Isn't it the coolest thing ever? Samantha from SATC esq.. It's a Wendy Brandes design!

The likely lads + Robbie Madge
Found some beautiful photography via Is This Real Life? @ Jolijn Snijders. There are tons of fashion with boy and girls models, all of which are stunning.
I love this boy! Teeny bit of a crush-but can you blame me? check his expression
And I love this floral vest, I really wanted to make something like this ages ago but it was never successful...there it is again, I always start but never finish!
I love the velvet purple top here is stunning, as well as the biker gloves. This is Robbie Madge
I'll begin to post more and more but incredibly busy time of year, I am actually out on my teaching rounds (where I go into the school and practice before I am qualified haha)
And thank you for all the lovely comments I have been getting.

Post Secret
I've been following Frank for years now, and until recently the secrets haven't made such an impact on me. I do love the idea that creating a creative visual to express something you can't quite say aloud. Then hope that someone along the way reads it. Well this week I have checked it out, and this secret I think is incredibly simple, and just sort makes me think about it a little.
There is something about this. It's just like hey...ah what are we competing for? Why are we all striving to be the next best thing? Be cool? I personally am not competitive at all...but saying that I do always like to think I need to be the best at what I want to do. Does that make any sense?
Bit of a bizarre post haha.
P.s I am really cut, I just got locked out of my photobucket account which I have had for about 5 years and totally can't remember my password or the email I used for it. So now I can't get any of the photos that were on there! Some of which I don't have saved on here any more :( tear.

Elke Kramer
I am devastated I have nothing to show you, except this photo but it really doesn't do it justice. Today I was so excited when in a shop window I cam across one of her necklaces. It was a square pyramid of black and white marble, surrounded with gold and on a gold silk plaited necklace. It was to die for. I had to go in and find out who made it. This lovely woman did and I looked her up quick smart only to realise that I had been there before. Her designs are also on the cover of this issue of Frankie magazine.
Anyway, her pieces do come at a bit of a price. This particular necklace I would die for was over 300 dollars..wish I had a picture!

whimsical editorial
Late last night I was trawling through the many fashion blogs that are about these days, and someone posted these beautiful images from a magazine, and for the life of me can't remember who posted it or where the photos are from! I did save them though and I do believe they need to be shared with you because I think they really encompass everything I love. They are slightly creepy and misleading but pretty and light at the same time. What do you think??

Spell Designs, Byron Bay
When I was in Byron bay in February, I discovered this beautiful brand of jewelry! I quickly saved it in my notes on my phone, and the other day only just remembered about it and looked for it on my phone but couldn't find it any where. so dang it.
But I had some luck with a bit of 'googling' and was able to find it. I really think some of her pieces are AMAZING but on second thoughts, I have looked into it more and some of the stuff I don't fancy as much as I did earlier in the year. I like the use of the skull, dream catchers and feathers but thats about it really.
You can find all the information, stockists, prices and an online shop at www.spelldesigns.com
