Crystalised

As a hunter of fine things, particularly jewelry because I know it will always fit me. I found these beautiful pieces on my favourite pass time etsy.

I actually got the inspiration of searching for a crystal necklace because when I was in London I saw this amazing  really large sword shaped one, and it was vintage and absolutely stunning. I think I was in a rush and didn't really think about it and so should have bought it at the time. I regret it now!

Anyway these pretties have cheered me up a bit, and I have one coming in the mail which I will change up a bit!

I'll show you mine when it arrives later this week. Happy Blogging
Edit-I have only just seen The Animal Orchestra's post on a similar necklace, and I totally didn't copy! I was so surprised when I cam across it two days later, I guess good minds think alike?

Hunting

Just found this old photo from The Sartorialist and wanted to share! I cannot remember what month it was from, but if I could be bothered could look it up in the archives. Anyway I am just in love with all the colours in the jewels and the way she has so many but they all work together. Something I wish I could pull off.

P.S It is two weeks till I leave for the UK! I am so excited! I have been holding up the spending hard core, and really haven't had anything new in months. So excited for the shopping! I really hope I find some treasures haha.

Elke Kramer

I am devastated I have nothing to show you, except this photo but it really doesn't do it justice. Today I was so excited when in a shop window I cam across one of her necklaces. It was a square pyramid of black and white marble, surrounded with gold and on a gold silk plaited necklace. It was to die for. I had to go in and find out who made it. This lovely woman did and I looked her up quick smart only to realise that I had been there before. Her designs are also on the cover of this issue of Frankie magazine.

Anyway, her pieces do come at a bit of a price. This particular necklace I would die for was over 300 dollars..wish I had a picture!

Spell Designs, Byron Bay

When I was in Byron bay in February, I discovered this beautiful brand of jewelry! I quickly saved it in my notes  on my phone, and the other day only just remembered about it and looked for it on my phone but couldn't find it any where. so dang it.

But I had some luck with a bit of 'googling' and was able to find it. I really think some of her pieces are AMAZING but on second thoughts, I have looked into it more and some of the stuff I don't fancy as much as I did earlier in the year. I like the use of the skull, dream catchers and feathers but thats about it really.

You can find all the information, stockists, prices and an online shop at www.spelldesigns.com

I was scoping around the net one day, and came across this shop in Melbourne which stock this ring:

But I cannot for the life of me remember the name of the shop or the brand of the ring! I know it was around the $300 plus mark. Anyone have any ideas?

I really need to keep a better record...

Pamela Love

At an appointment today, and was flipping through an old Cleo and came across a little article on this designer Pamela Love and there were a couple of pictures of her jewelry label and I was like "Wow I really like them, and I think I have seen them somewhere before..." (But the name was unfamiliar...) So I got back home and researched...

Bonus

I don't know whether this is a good or bad thing, but I know of a shop on Etsy that does pretty much the same stuff! Except rather the prices being in the hundreds or so they are around 50 bucks.

These are the Pamela Love pieces:

Nature + Jewelry?

I have always had a bit of an obsession with nature and animals in jewelry.
In fact anything a bit weird and out there generally attracts me.

I have been cruising around on Etsy recently and stumbled across these lovelies:

These three are a bit pricey, but look like amazing quality and
you can get your hands on these at Miss Mouse

I actually own this one! I was so excited, it was my first
purchase and I am very happy with it. The designer has some
very cute stuff Kiska Style

I found these babies to! But my internet stuffed up and
I lost the shop! But I am still hunting for it!
I am always founding new and cute things, most of them
out of my price range! I think there will be many posts on
these in the future haha.
