The likely lads + Robbie Madge

Found some beautiful photography via Is This Real Life? @ Jolijn Snijders. There are tons of fashion with boy and girls models, all of which are stunning.
I love this boy! Teeny bit of a crush-but can you blame me? check his expression

And I love this floral vest, I really wanted to make something like this ages ago but it was never successful...there it is again, I always start but never finish!

I love the velvet purple top here is stunning, as well as the biker gloves. This is Robbie Madge

Elke Kramer

I am devastated I have nothing to show you, except this photo but it really doesn't do it justice. Today I was so excited when in a shop window I cam across one of her necklaces. It was a square pyramid of black and white marble, surrounded with gold and on a gold silk plaited necklace. It was to die for. I had to go in and find out who made it. This lovely woman did and I looked her up quick smart only to realise that I had been there before. Her designs are also on the cover of this issue of Frankie magazine.

Anyway, her pieces do come at a bit of a price. This particular necklace I would die for was over 300 dollars..wish I had a picture!

Sretsis, not Stresis...

Photobucket

I first saw Sretsis in HK in 2008 and fell in love with one of their dresses, I can vaguely remember it being an off white shift dress with geometric plastic beads surrounding the collar. It was stunning, and I should have just bought it at the time but of course was all negative about it. I did look for it back home but later forgot about it...And only recently I have remembered this brand and it definitely deserves it's own post.

They have some very pretty and feminine designs, the website is stunning:

These are some of my favourites, I am overwhelmed by how large the collection is.

A lot of it reminds me of a cute little tea party, then there are some formal frocks and other more day to day wear. It is a beautiful. And looking at it again I have definitely seen that black and gold skirt before....
From the website I cant see any prices, but there are a couple of stockists in Melbourne so I will have to check them out...

Romeo and Juliet

Forever, and ever, I have loved this particular composition of Romeo and Juliet. This piece is my absolute favourite of all of Baz Luhrmann's creations. He does a brilliant job with these two young actors giving the play back innocence and naivety.

I've just watched this for about the 10000th time and this scene gets to me! It is so intense, romantic, cheeky, surreal and so beyond reality I have to appreciate it. Claire Danes does a beautiful job of creating Juliet Capulet, and who can't like Leo in anything?!

If you have no idea what I am on about, I strongly encourage you to buy or hire this dvd right now!
