Kudos to a friend of mine who has just told me about the Local Natives who are an indie rock band that are based in Silver Lake, LA. (I don't know about you but I always like to know where bands I like are from..haha)
They have a really great sound and there is a lot of diversity in the album Gorilla Manor you should definitely look into it!
