Body Art

I can't believe I haven't posted on this before! I am in LOVE with GOOD tattoos. I don't really know what makes a good one, I think it definitely has to be unique even something funny can be great.
I don't have one, because I don't think I have the balls to pull it off haha. I have got a little collection of some of my favourites.

Photobucket
This one is just amazing, it is so perfect in every way!

Photobucket
I think this is hilarious and I have actually told my friend who has a 'conjoined' toe to get it. But I don't think she will... haha

Photobucket
I find this just pretty, I think it must have some hidden meaning but I cant really figure it out.

Photobucket
I have always wanted a thai elephant, but I think this is way to 'cartoonish' for my liking and I think I would want mine to look more abstract more than a real one. I would like it in a brown I think to.

I have a friend who was telling me about this tattoo these guys got, and they were tiny stick figures, heaps of them running out of their belly-button. I think it would look awsome! Wish I had a picture.

Nature + Jewelry?

I have always had a bit of an obsession with nature and animals in jewelry.
In fact anything a bit weird and out there generally attracts me.

I have been cruising around on Etsy recently and stumbled across these lovelies:
Photobucket
These three are a bit pricey, but look like amazing quality and
you can get your hands on these at Miss Mouse
Photobucket
I actually own this one! I was so excited, it was my first
purchase and I am very happy with it. The designer has some
very cute stuff Kiska Style

Photobucket

I found these babies to! But my internet stuffed up and
I lost the shop! But I am still hunting for it!
I am always founding new and cute things, most of them
out of my price range! I think there will be many posts on
these in the future haha.

The Big Five Personality Test

I saw this on my friends blog and thought I would give it a shot! These are my results!

What aspects of personality does this tell me about?
There has been much research on how people describe others, and five major dimensions of human personality have been found. They are often referred to as the OCEAN model of personality, because of the acronym from the names of the five dimensions.
Openness to Experience/Intellect
      High scorers tend to be original, creative, curious, complex;
Low scorers tend to be conventional, down to earth, narrow interests, uncreative.
        You are somewhat conventional
Conscientiousness
        High scorers tend to be reliable, well-organized, self-disciplined, careful;
Low scorers tend to be disorganized, undependable, negligent.
You probably have a messy desk!
Extraversion
        High scorers tend to be sociable, friendly, fun loving, talkative;
Low scorers tend to be introverted, reserved, inhibited, quiet.
You are relatively social and enjoy the company of others.
Agreeableness
        High scorers tend to be good natured, sympathetic, forgiving, courteous;
Low scorers tend to be critical, rude, harsh, callous.
You are good-natured, courteous, and supportive.
Neuroticism
        High scorers tend to be nervous, high-strung, insecure, worrying;
Low scorers tend to be calm, relaxed, secure, hardy.
You are generally relaxed.    (Your percentile: 22)

My evaluation:

Openness to experience/intellect
This particular one annoys me! I really really want to embrace my creativity and intellect. I need to take advantage of reading everything I own.  I wish this score was higher :(

Conscientiousness
Hahaha, oh how I wish this didn't come out, but I am afraid to say it is true!

Extraversion
I think this is accurate, I do enjoy other peoples company but there is definitely a time and place for it, because I know when I want/need to be by my self.

Agreeableness
Well I am glad I scored higher on this one! This is definitely me on a more positive note I do feel I am the caring one who thinks of others before my self. But I do have to make sure they don't take advantage of me (haha not that I have much to offer)

Neuroticism
Yep again, I am calm and relaxed majority of the time. This unfortunately holds me back occasionally especially if I have work or chores that need to be done! I think my mum would agree...

So now you know a little more about me! To take the test your self visit the website http://www.outofservice.com/bigfive/

And its free! YAY! happy surveying!

Alice In Wonderland & Remember Me

I saw both of these movies in the past two weeks, both appeal to me even though they are both very very different.

First off I want to start of with Remember Me because it is fresh in my mind. Now never mind that I have a huge thing for Robert Pattinson I would still say this movie was absolutely brilliant. It was heart-wrenching, passionate, deep and depressing. There are layers upon layers of the two main characters and what they share together is so desirable.

I really have to give it a 10 out of 10, I am really quite disappointed with the rating on Rotten Tomatoes but check out the reviews because some are quite informing.

Alice in Wonderland definitely lives up to Tim Burtons style and attitude towards film making. The use of effects, costumes and characters is beyond my imagination and I think Burton really did reach to the sky with this movie. Even though Alice is 19 years, it's interesting how Burton creates this like her memory, they know who she is but she takes her time to figure it out. I think nearly everyone I know wants to or has seen this and I strongly recommend. It really does reflect the day and age technology is at today.

I think a 9 out of 10 for me, it was fantastic but the depressing side to the wonderland kind of upset me haha.

Anyway, they are just my thoughts on these two films which are both worthwhile and I expect you ALL to see them haha.

Hello Kitty -

Ah I am terrible~ I am so sorry to whoever reads this jibberjabber of mine, because I haven't posted in one whole week! Ah! I think it is because I have just started at a new university, bogged down with information and my creativity has decreased a little... :-(

Anyway, regarding Hello Kittty, I dont think I have mentioned it yet but I am a nanny on the side...And both of the little girls I look after are obsessed with HK. The seven year old had a hello kitty themed party yesterday!
It was full on.

I am talking full full on. The Cake was amazing. It cost of $200....it was massive and even had bling in the bow...haha
I will try and get my hands on some pictures and post them up :D

But it got me thinking, they really milk this brand name for all its got...there is HK on anything if you really look for it.

Photobucket
If you cant tell this is a Hello Kitty toaster...it imprints a hello kitty image onto the toast.. I distinctly remember Hilary Duff saying she had one in an interview once.

Photobucket
If you cant tell because of the Japanese these are tampons....Hmm some how the "cuteness" isn't really necessary in this sort of area for me haha.

I'll see what else I can come up with that is bizarre in the area of HK, but for now I gotta run!

P.S I really want to approve the look of this blog, I am working on it haha.

The Sartorialist

This is one of my all time favourite blogs! The Sartorialist.
I collect the ones that stand out to me, and here is just a sample of some!

Photobucket

The <3 B&W and the floral bomber jacket, its tough but not with this pretty pattern....

Photobucket
Photobucket

Ah! I loved this one as soon as I saw it. I actually think I have a bit of a thing for red-heads but his shoes are just perfection! And I loved the
rolled up jeans look and the grey jacket matches, but it slightly unexpected...

Photobucket

I tried to find this necklace for ages! I looked it up and figured it was an Australian designer,
Michelle Jank! But she in fact went bust and couldn't afford to make these beautiful things
any more....So I attempted..but it is a bit of a fail haha.

Photobucket

Wow, just wow! This jacket is something I would never look at in a million years, but it looks fantastic! I just wish I could see the front of it! Cute pattern on the shorts to. This is from Todays entry on the blog. The girl actually looks like Hannah Murray.

Photobucket

What kind of upsets me though, is he never takes photos of "larger" people. I have seen plenty of larger women, or even just women who arn't skinny to dress perfectly for their size. I don't see why he doesn't capture them....

WOW!

Just checking out some photos from the behind the scenes of Paris fashion week, and GOLD was very present!! I just adore all of these outfits!

The header is "ahead of my time" just because it's gold and sparkles, haha and I feel I have been brave enough to wear both of these for the past couple of years! and only now are people figuring out how fabulous they are! So I am quite proud, but a little sad...I liked my gold...

Romeo and Juliet

Forever, and ever, I have loved this particular composition of Romeo and Juliet. This piece is my absolute favourite of all of Baz Luhrmann's creations. He does a brilliant job with these two young actors giving the play back innocence and naivety.

Photobucket

Photobucket

I've just watched this for about the 10000th time and this scene gets to me! It is so intense, romantic, cheeky, surreal and so beyond reality I have to appreciate it. Claire Danes does a beautiful job of creating Juliet Capulet, and who can't like Leo in anything?!

If you have no idea what I am on about, I strongly encourage you to buy or hire this dvd right now!
